TRAINING: I believe that TRUST is essential when raising puppies. I teach my puppies and potty train them in a manner that allows them to easily transition to their new homes with their new owners.  Puppies are potty trained on NEWSPAPER ONLY and not expensive, hard-to-maintain potty pads or litter boxes.  If I have them long enough, puppies are trained to use a doggie door and eliminate outdoors.  All of my dogs have access all day to a beautfiul garden and large back yard, offering them a chance for exercise as they come and go through the cat-sized doggie door.  I start puppies early on the "come" command, which is essential to have a successful relationship with your dog.

SHIPPING:  If I ship your puppy, I will be required to make a vet appointment in order to obtain the Health Certificate required by ALL AIRLINES. I try to send puppies on non-stop flights; however, this is not always possible. I will accommodate your schedule the best I can. I provide new owners with instructions and recommendations for transitioning your new puppy. Your new puppy will be VERY HAPPY to see you when you arrive at the airport!!!

Shipping fee is $300.**  This fee is my cost which covers the cost of a NEW airline-approved crate, vet certificate and airfare.  Please consider the fact that I have to leave home at 4:30 a.m. for check-in at the airport by 5:00 a.m.  (Most cross-country flights leave the west coast very early in the day.)  I only fly puppies on non-stop or two-legged flights on ALASKA, DELTA OR CONTINENTAL PET SAFE.  On these airlines, pets fly in a pressurized, climate-controlled cargo cabin much like passengers.  I WILL NOT put a puppy on a stand-by, as-space-permits cargo flight, which is an alternative some breeders use to save money on airfare.  I CARE AND WORRY ABOUT MY PUPPIES AND THEIR COMFORTABLE FLIGHT until they arrive at their destination --- YOU.  I provide new owners with an on-line link to flight status* of puppies that I fly, and I personally check their status all day until they arrive and I maintain phone contact with you to confirm their safe arrival.
